Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to hold/ conduct a 1/4

fresh online examination for the petitioner allowing the petitioner to use the assistance of a Scribe of his choice and to call him for certificate verification and interview based on the marks which he would score in the on line examinations and the interview to be conducted along with other candidates and to consider and select the petitioner for the post of Assistant in the vacancies notified for the State of Tamilnadu under General / PWD (OC) quota/ category. O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to conduct a fresh online examination for him allowing him to use the assistance of a Scribe of his choice and to call him for certificate verification and interview and select him for the post of Assistant.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and hence nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
