Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. Despite service of notice on the respondent, the respondent has not chosen to enter appearance either person or through counsel. 1/4

3. The petitioner is the wife facing HMOP.No.4597 of 2024 before the III Additional Family Court, Chennai. The petitioner is a resident of Thanjavur and is blessed with a child aged 1 1⁄2 years. Therefore, the petitioner expresses genuine difficulties in traveling all the way to Chennai to attend the proceedings in HMOP.No.4597 of 2024 before the III Additional Family Court, Chennai and that the petitioner has made out a prima facie case for seeking transfer as prayed for.

4. I am satisfied with the petitioner's representation and find that a subsequent transfer is justified.

5. In the light of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. The case in HMOP.No.4597 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the III Additional Family Court, Chennai and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Thanjavur.
