Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Declaration, declaring the section 4(1)(a) introduced by the Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Amendment Act 27 of 1998 as amended by Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Amendment Act 13 of 2003 by substituting the III Schedule Part I of the Tamilnadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974 as Ultra vires, arbitrary, illegal, void and violation of Article 14 of the Constitution of India in so far as it amounts to levy of tax for registration of new vehicle in so far as the the vehicle of the petitioner LMJ-Motor car (TATA INDICA DLS) 01-12-2004 from the dealer TAFE REACH LIMITED, Coimbatore bearing Chassis No.6001241 LVZPD0935 and Engine No.4751DI01LVZPC 9265 is concerned.
