This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in Spl.S.C.No.143 of 2022 on the file of Special Judge for 1/4

exclusive trial of cases under the POCSO Act, Chennai, on the ground that there is a compromise between the parties.

2. Heard Mr.D.Senthil, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] appearing for State/first respondent and carefully went through the materials available on record.

3. Considering the nature of allegations and also the statement given by the victim girl when it was recorded u/s.164 Cr.P.C., this Court is not inclined to exercise its jurisdiction u/s.482 Cr.P.C. and quash the proceedings on the ground of compromise.
