PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to withdraw and transfer investigation in Crime No.536 of 2015 on the file of the second respondent, E-2(B-6), Peelamedu Police Station, Coimbatore District to some other investigating agency.

O R D E R

The prayer in the present petition is to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of Crime No.536 of 2015 pending on the file of the second respondent, E-2(B-6), Peelamedu Police Station, Coimbatore District to some other investigating agency.

2. The ground on which the present petition has been filed that the respondent police have not acted upon the petitioner's complaint expeditiously. Since the FIR was registered on 31.07.2015, it would be appropriate that the respondent police may be directed to complete the investigation expeditiously. If the investigation is completed, the petitioner may not have any grievance against the present investigating police officer.

3. In view of the same, there shall be an direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.536 of 2015 and file a final report, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With this observations, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
