..Respondent(s) Prayer : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents 1 and 2 not to interfere with the Petitioners peaceful possession and enjoyment of Shop Nos. 85 and 86 Situated at Muthamizhil Arignar Dr.Kalaignar Central Bus Stand, Tiruppur District, which were duly allotted to the Petitioner and to ensure the petitioners right to carry on his business peacefully without any hindrance. ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are preventing him from carrying on his activities in Shop Nos.85 & 86 at the Muthamizhil Arignar Dr.Kalaignar Central Bus stand, Tiruppur District. The petitioner claims that he has been running a bakery for several years under the name and style of "Amaravathi Cafe". He participated in a tender process and was allotted Shop Nos.85 & 86 in the aforesaid bus stand. An allotment order was passed on 25.07.2025 and a lease agreement was entered into on 29.10.2025. Despite having complied with all the requirements, the respondents for reasons unknown, are preventing him from exercising his rights as the successful bidder . Hence, the present writ petition.

2. When the matter was taken up by Mr.Abishek Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent states that possession has been handed over to the petitioner on 03.02.2026. He further states that thereafter, the petitioner commenced his activities. Further, he urges that he has been instructed by the Commissioner that there will be no hindrance to the petitioner in carrying on his business activities in Shop Nos.85 & 86 at the Muthamizhil Arignar Dr.Kalaignar Central Bus stand, Tiruppur District.

3. The above statement is recorded. This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
