Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the issuance of the impugned public notice dated 21.12.2004, under sub section 2 of section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land and Industrial Purposes Act, 1997 (Act No.X of 1999) issued by the first respondent in respect of the lands comprised in Survey No.219 of an extent measuring 0.27.00 Hectres at Anjur Village, Block No.5, Chengalpattu Taluk, Kancheepuram District, and quash the same, consequentially direct the respondents to withdraw the acquisition of the said lands owned by the petitioner. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents relying on the Government letter dated 02.07.2018 issued by the Additional Chief Secretary to Government submitted for the land acquisition proceedings in respect of the property described in the present writ petition has been dropped.

2. Thus, the cause aroused for filing of the writ petition became vanished. Accordingly, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in the present writ petition and the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
