Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.2 and 3 for cancellation of patta No.8 that stood in the name of the 5th respondent and issuance of patta to the petitioners by considering the petitioners representation dated 04.11.2025 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to cancel the patta standing in the name of the 5th respondent for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, based on the petitioners' representation, dated 04.11.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The limited relief that the petitioners are seeking before this Court is for an early disposal of the petitioners' representation/appeal, dated 04.11.2025, pending on the file of the 3rd respondent. Page No.2 of 7
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.C.Gowthamaraj, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 5th respondent.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioners' representation/appeal is directed to be disposed of by the 3rd respondent on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the 5th respondent and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation/appeal.
5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioners' representation/appeal, dated 04.11.2025, after hearing the objections of the 5th respondent or any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, and by adhering to the principles of Page No.3 of 7
natural justice, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
