O R D E R

The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.35065 of 2013 dated 05.02.2014. Pending the contempt petition, the Town Panchayat has filed Review Application in Review Application No.174 of 2019 before this Court which was dismissed as withdrawn today. Subsequently Government has considered the claim of the petitioner and an order was passed rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.

3. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 and the learned counsel appearing for third respondent submitted that the said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondents. It is further submitted that the respondents have passed an order rejecting the claim of the petitioner.

4. Since the order of this Court had been complied with by the respondents, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order of rejection in the manner known to law before the appropriate forum.
