O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner land for surveying and measuring by the surveyor and take action of the petitioner complaint dated 27.01.2022. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the power of attorney of his brother one Anbazhagan. The said Anbazhagan is the absolute owner of the agricultural land in Survey No.222A/7 measuring an extent of 0.08 cents in Pakkam Village, Sangarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District. the said property before the Tahsildar, Sangarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District on 21.01.2022. Based on the application made by the petitioner, the Surveyor of Sangarapuram Taluk has come to measure the land. At that time, the second respondent who is neighbour, had created problem and thereby the present petition has been filed seeking to provide police protection to the petitioner.

3.Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that if a date is fixed by the Surveyor and notice is issued to the respondent and to the adjacent land owners, the respondent is ready to provide police protection.

4.In the event of the Surveyor fixing a date and intimating the date to the first respondent, he shall provide necessary protection for surveying the petitioner's land. The criminal original petition stands ordered.
