The petitioner/husband has filed this Civil Revision Petition seeking a direction to the Principal Family Court, Combatore to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.143 of 2024 on merits within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

It is the petitioner's contention that the proceedings was originally filed before the Principal Family Court, Bangalore in M.C.No.4452 of 2022 and thereafter, it was transferred to the Principal Family Court, Coimbatore and re-numbered as H.M.O.P.No.143 of 2024. He would further submit that the respondent-wife has not filed her counter and the matter has been dragged from the year 2022 for filing the counter.

4. Considering the above, this Civil Revision Petition is allowed and the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Coimbatore is directed to dispose of the H.M.O.P.No.143 of 2024 within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
