ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to fix the petitioner seniority in par with the petitioner batch mates recruited for the year 2012-2013 based on the petitioner representation dated 06.01.2022 submitted to the 1st respondent in the light of his own proceedings passed in C.No.3362/Rect1(2)2016 dated 11.11.2016.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he was selected originally for the post of Grade-II Police Constable. However, he was not given the posting on the ground that there was a criminal case pending. However, subsequently, this Court in W.P.(MD).No.23873 of 2017, by Order dated 11.01.2018 set aside the impugned order therein and directed the respondent to issue appointment Order and the petitioner joined the service in the year 2018. Hence, he seeks seniority to fix on par with the petitioner's batch mate. In this regard, she has given a representation to the first respondent on 06.01.2022, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the entire materials. Earlier, the first respondent in proceedings C.No.3362/Rect1(2)/2016 dated 11.11.2016 accepted the revising of the seniority of the similarly situated persons. Hence, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation 2/4

of the petitioner dated 06.01.2022 and in light of its proceedings in C.No.3362/Rect1(2)/2016 dated 11.11.2016 and pass appropriate order(s) on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
