Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to award the contract to establish 400/230 KV GIS Sub Station with Associated Auto Transformers, GIS, Accessories, Control Panels, Substation Automation System and Civil Works Complete" at Pulianthope in Chennai to the petitioner confirmed by them as L1 after satisfying its qualifications and accepting its reduced price schedule pursuant to the notice inviting tender dated 20.08.2015 under Tender Specification No.T-1913 and issue work order to it to carry out the said work within the time that may be fixed by this Court.

In view of the subsequent development, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to challenge the order dated 07.12.2016 and note order dated 20.01.2017. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
