Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records of the 2nd respondent herein dated 28.03.2006 in Na.Ka.V3.22374-01 and orders of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.A3/3745/1998, dated 12.3.2001 and 4th respondent in R.T.R.44/97-98, dated 30.3.1998 quash the same and direct the 4th respondent to remove the name of the 5th respondent as Joint Pattadhar in the land of an extent of 0.67.0 Hectares in Patta No.491 in S.No.127/1, T.Elamangalam Village, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District.

Heard Mr.ARL.Sundaresan, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Anand, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 4. Despite service of notice on the fifth respondent and her name being printed in the cause list, there is no appearance either in person or through counsel.
2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that the dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent has been amicably settled out of Court and thereafter, the property was sold to third parties and a letter has already been given by the petitioner to the fourth respondent to that effect. The letter of the Personal Assistant to the Sub Collector, Vridhachalam, dated 24.06.2019 and a xerox copy of the letter given by the petitioner have been placed for perusal and the same are taken on file.
3. In the light of the above fact, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
