Directing the Respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioners representation dated 02.01.2026 relating to lands comprised in Survey No.131/1 and its Sub-Divisions situated at M.Perumpalayam Village, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District and consequently direct the respondents to cancel the errors in the patta standing in the name of the petitioners' brother along and pass orders.

2.This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to cancel patta No.1409, standing in the name of Madhavan for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioners' representation dated 02.01.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.According to the petitioner, Madhavan is the brother of the petitioners and he had obtained patta in his name for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioners seek for cancellation of the same

through their representation dated 02.01.2026 given to the respondents. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 4.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5.The petitioners have also filed supporting documents along with this writ petition in support of their representation. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same.

6.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioners' representation, as stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of Madhavan in whose name the patta stands and any other third party whom the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation dated 02.01.2026 seeking for cancellation of patta No.1409, standing in the name of Madhavan for the property, morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections of Madhavan in whose name the patta stands and also any other third party whom

the second respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 06-02-2026 VGA
