PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the Principal District Judge, Chengelpattu to expeditiously dispose of the Execution Proceedings in E.P.No.106 of 2019.

O R D E R

The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is to dispose of the execution proceedings within the stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is seen from the records that the award has been passed by the Arbitrator vide award dated 07.01.2019. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that to execute the said award, the execution petition in E.P.No.106 of 2019 has been filed. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the said execution petition has not been disposed of by the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu.

4. In view of the stage of the execution proceedings and also taking into account, the fact that the award has been passed as early as on 07.01.2019 and Execution Petition also having been filed in the year 2019, there shall be a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu, to dispose of the petition in E.P.No.106 of 2019 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The parties are directed to co-operate with the proceedings without taking unnecessary adjournments.
