O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the case in S.C.No.32 of 2012 pending before the Learned XVII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Chennai-1 to any other Court in the Chennai District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the trial has been commenced in this case there are totally 38 witnesses, out of which, 33 witnesses have been examined before the trial Court.

3. It is seen that trial has been commenced and 33 witnesses were examined and at this stage, the transfer of S.C.No.32 of 2012 cannot be considered by this Court.

4. However, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial in S.C.No.32 of 2012 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
