When the matter was taken up for hearing, both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the second respondent submitted that the parties have settled the matter amicably and the second respondent has agreed to receive a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- from the petitioner as full and final settlement. Accordingly, they filed a joint memo of compromise dated 05.08.2019 duly signed by both the parties and their respective counsels.

today before this Court. Cheque bearing No.002629 dated 05.08.2019 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Ranipet, Industrial Complex Branch, issued in favour of the second respondent for a sum of Rs.1,50,000/- was handed over by the petitioner to the second respondent, as full and final settlement. The joint memo filed by the parties is recorded and in view of the joint memo of compromise, this Writ Petition is closed. The joint memo of compromise shall form part of this order. No costs.
