PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in C3/D.O./03/2020 on the file of the first respondent, set aside the detention order dated 24.01.2020 and direct the first respondent to produce the detenu Arulvel @ Arul son of Perumal aged about 44 years, presently detained at the Central Prison, Cuddalore under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 as a Bootlegger, before this Court and set him at liberty.

(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The matter was heard through "Video Conference". 2.The Petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C3/D.O./03/2020 dated 24.01.2020 detaining her husband as "bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt. No.1441, Home, Prohibition ane Excise (XI) Department, dated 16.03.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
