comprised in S.No.44/2 situated at Aanaikattipalayam Gramam, Rasaipuram circle, Namakkal District to the petitioner, on the receipt of consideration amount on the basis of value to be assessed for the subject land and consequently, to issue patta in respect of the subject land in favour of petitioner and consequently, forbear the 2nd respondent from interfering with the petitioner's peaceful possession of the subject land till such time the petitioner's representation is disposed of by the 1st respondent.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation given by the petitioner wherein, the petitioner is seeking for the assignment of land in his favour and for issuance of patta.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the representation is of the year 2010 and in any case, the respondents have already 2/4

taken a decision on the request made by the petitioner and that the decision will be conveyed to the petitioner within the time frame fixed by this Court. 3.Considering the above submission, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to convey the decision to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Ultimately, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
