O R D E R
(The case has been heard through video conference) Earlier, this Court by an order dated 01.10.2020 in W.P.Nos.13914 and 13702 of 2020 directed the 1st respondent therein to process the applications submitted by the petitioners seeking for patta without insisting 2/4
for no objection certificate from the Tamil Nadu Housing Board and necessary orders shall be passed strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks. Since the order was not complied within a stipulated period, the present Contempt Petitions have been filed.
2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondent submitted that, in pursuant to the order dated 01.10.2020 passed by this court, the respondent has passed an order dated 19.03.2021. Hence, these Contempt Petitions may be closed.
3. Recording the above submissions, the order passed by this Court is duly complied with, and no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, these Contempt Petitions stand closed.
