(Order of the Court made by S.TAMILVANAN,J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 2.This petition has been filed by the petitioner/daughter of the detenu K.Janardanan, aged about 53 years, to cause production of him before this Court.

3.It is an admitted fact that one person, aged about 60 years was found in unconscious stage at Chepauk Railway Station, was admitted in Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital on 05.11.2014 at about 10.00 a.m. and on the same day, at about 9.15 p.m., he died in the hospital. During investigation, the second respondent called upon the petitioner for enquiry and she was taken into Egmore Railway Station and photos were shown for identification of the deceased and it was identified by the petitioner that it was the missing person/detenu Janarthanan and the petitioner was also admitted that the dead person was the father of the petitioner/the alleged detenu. 4.On the aforesaid circumstances, having recorded the statement made by way of additional status report filed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is closed, without prejudice to the rights of the petitioner.
