Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to impose condition on the 5th respondent not to effect any Sand quarrying in the Sitteri Lake by using machinery of whatsoever nature for the purpose of quarrying sand from the Sitteri Lake bed area in terms of the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 07.07.2012 bearing Na.Ka.528/2010-Q3 for the period from 07.07.2012 to 15.08.2012 to an extent of 4000 lorry loads and consequently forbear the 5th respondent from any manner using machinery of whatsoever nature for the purpose of removing Sand beyond 3 feet depth from Sitteri Lake, Maganiam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous and the same may be recorded by this Court.
