ORDER

When the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has produced a communication sent by the President, Government College of Engineering Co-operative Stores Ltd., Salem, which shows that the petitioner was paid a sum of Rs.2,43,772/- (Rupees two lakhs forty three thousand seven hundred and seventy two only), which is 50% of the Award amount.

2. In view of the same, the contempt petition stands closed. However, the petitioner is given liberty to seek further direction in this regard.
