[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging noncompliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.34487 of 2013 dated 18.12.2013, wherein this Court directed the respondents to re-fix the scale of pay of the petitioners as per the option exercised by them in accordance with the Rules and the letter dated 26.06.2009 and grant all consequential benefits.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that as against the order of this Court, which is in contempt, a Writ Appeal has been filed. 3/4

Since a Writ Appeal has been filed challenging the order, which is in contempt, nothing survives for adjudication in the present Contempt Petition. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
