Respondents Writ Petition filed under Art.226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records relating to and including the first respondent's letter dated 17.6.2004 addressed to the petitioner and quash the said letter (LR NO.SE/SEDC/S/AEE/GEN/AE/DEV/F.DOC/D1437/2004) dated 17.6.2004 which is based on regulation 31 of Tamil Nadu Electricity distribution Code, 2004, as invalid in law, arbitrary, unreasonable, illogical and unenforceable being violative of Arts.14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and ultravires of Section 46 of the Electricity Act 2003 and consequently, directing the respondents to effect supply of HT Electrical energy to the petitioner Hotel situated at No.85/86, Arcot Road, Rajeswari Nagar, Porur Chennai 116, upto the maximum demand not exceeding 200 KVA and to pass any order.
