For Petitioner : M/S.S.PUGAZHENDHI Advocate For Respondent : R.SEKAR, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Petition for anticipatory bail in Crime No.379 of 2017.

2. Offences alleged are under Sections 147, 148, 380 r/w 149 IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act.

3. It is alleged that on 23.01.2017, the petitioner along with some other person damaged Metro Railway Station in Arumbakkam, Chennai, in the Jallikattu protest.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this case has been foisted against the petitioner. On the occurrence day, he was in Thirupathi.

5. In the facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant him anticipatory bail.

6. Ordered as under:- (i) Anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner; (ii) Petitioner shall surrender before the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, within 15 days of receipt of a copy of the order;

(iii) Petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the said Magistrate;

(iv) Petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
