COMMON PRAYER: Civil Revision Petitions are filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying for a direction to expedite the trial in O.P.No.2753 of 2018 and O.P.No.3732 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai. For Petitioner in both C.R.Ps. : Mr.C.R.Malarvannan COMMON ORDER These Civil Revision Petitions are filed for an earlier disposal of the matrimonial case pending on the file of the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai.

2. The petitioner herein has filed O.P.No.2753 of 2018 and the respondent/wife has filed O.P.No.3732 of 2017. The husband has filed an application for dissolving the marriage between him and the respondent in O.P.No.2753 of 2018. The respondent/wife has filed O.P.No.3732 of 2017 for restitution of conjugal rights.

3. A perusal of B-Diary extract in O.P.No.3732 of 2017 would indicate that a joint trial with O.P.No.2753 of 2018 has been ordered. The matter has been listed on 06.11.2020 for joint enquiry. The evidence has commenced on 27.07.2019 with PW1, being examined in chief. Thereafter, the matter is being adjourned for cross-examination of PW1 from 03.09.2019.

4. In the above circumstances, taking note of the fact that the matter is pending at the stage of cross-examination of PW1 from so long, a direction is issued to the learned I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the O.P.No.2753 of 2018 and O.P.No.3732 of 2017 on or before 31.07.2022.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petitions are allowed. No costs.
