The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the 4th respondent in D.O.No.994/2004, A1/40027/2004 dated 21.10.2004 quash the same direct the respondents 1 to 5 to transfer the petitioners from the Armed Reserve Police to the Taluk Police in the Kanyakumari District in the same rank held by the petitioners.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the relief sought for in this petition has been granted. Hence, the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives in this writ petition for further adjudication. He also made Page No.4 of 7
an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
