Mr.K.M.D. Muhilan, Additional Public Prosecutor Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet bearing HS No. 352/2011 on the file of the 2nd respondent in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2026.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ammapettai Range, is the authorised officer to consider the representation of the petitioner and he has not been impleaded as a party to this Writ Petition. However, he would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 09.01.2026 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed by the respondents.

3.In view of the above, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ammapettai Range, is suo motu impleaded as the 3rd respondent in this Writ Petition.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of, with a direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 09.01.2026 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
