PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.12.2025 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issue suitable directions to the 4th respondent to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet in HS.No.85 of 2008.

Mr.K.M.D. Muhilan, Additional Public Prosecutor Order This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.12.2025 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issue suitable directions to the 4th respondent to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet in HS.No.85 of 2008.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the authorized officer to consider the representation of the petitioner is the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thenkanikottai Range, Krishnagiri, District. He would submit that the authorised officer has not been added as a necessary party in this Writ Petition.
3.In view of the submission, the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Thenkanikottai, is suo motu impleaded as the 5th respondent in this Writ Petition.
4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of, with a direction to the 5th respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.12.2024 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
