ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2011 and consequently to take necessary steps to restore the house site given by the Tahsildar (Adi Dravidar), Omalur, dated 15.12.1979.
2.According to the petitioner, the Tahsildar, Omalur, has issued house site patta to one Madhaiyan on 15.12.1979. The said Madhaiyan and his legal heirs have executed a registered Power of Attorney in favour of the petitioner on 07.03.2005. While so, the patta was fraudulently transferred to one Thulasi, who sold the property to one Vijaya. Though the petitioner has sent application to the Tahsildar, Omalur and R.D.O., Mettur, requesting them to cancel the patta, no action was taken by them.
Feeling aggrieved, he made a representation dated 30.12.2011 to the respondent, which is pending without any consideration. Hence, this writ petition.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2011, if it is not already considered and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
