ORDER

On 06.06.2023, when the matter was listed for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner remained absent and therefore, this court had directed the matter to be listed on 07.06.2023. On 07.06.2023 when the matter was again listed for hearing, it was pointed out to the learned counsel for the petitioner that the 1st respondent who is the only contesting respondent is dead and no steps have been taken so far. But, while adjourning the matter to 09.06.2023, it was made clear to the learned counsel that if no steps were taken by then, further orders would be passed in the writ petition on the next date of hearing.

2. Today, Mr.A.Vinod Raj, learned counsel representing Mr.C.Gowtham Raj, learned counsel on record for the petitioner corporation would state that steps have not been taken.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as abated. Liberty is given to the petitioner to restore the writ petition once steps are taken. No orders as to costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed. 09..06..2023 Index : yes / no : yes / no kmk
