Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order made in Memo issued by the 3rd respondent Memo No.l861/SE/CEDC/S-I/Adm3/Al/ F.Sel. Gr/2022 dated 21.10.2022 and the consequential order in Memo issued by the fourth respondent in Memo N0.2O8I/EE/O&M/ Porur/Admo/ Ads/A2/ F.Pay- Fix/2022 dated 26.10.2022 related to pay fixation arrears 2/8

calculation and Quash the same and consequently directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to issue the arrears for the post of Foreman 1st Grade and for the promotional post of Special Grade Foreman, Selection Grade increment on par with his immediate Junior K.Ramdoss along with interest @ 12% instead of issuing the arrears on notional basis disburse the monetary benefits within a reasonable time ie. The arrears for promotion post of Special Grade Foreman and Selection Grade increment is to be calculated from the date which the petitioner is deemed to have been promoted (8.8.2011 and 7.8.2022 respectively). This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order made in Memo issued by the 3rd respondent Memo No.l861/SE/CEDC/S-I/Adm3/Al/ F.Sel. Gr/2022 dated 3/8

21.10.2022 and the consequential order in Memo issued by the fourth respondent in Memo N0.2O8I/EE/O&M/ Porur/Admo/ Ads/A2/ F.Pay- Fix/2022 dated 26.10.2022 related to pay fixation arrears calculation and Quash the same and consequently directing the 3rd and 4th respondents to issue the arrears for the post of Foreman 1st Grade and for the promotional post of Special Grade Foreman, Selection Grade increment on par with his immediate Junior K.Ramdoss along with interest @ 12% instead of issuing the arrears on notional basis disburse the monetary benefits within a reasonable time ie. 2. Today, it is informed that the respondents have passed an order dated 29.10.2022, regularising the petitioner as a Special Grade Foreman with revised pay.
