Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Sellappampatti Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Kumbabishekam Festival at Namakkal Taluk & District on 10.03.2019 between 06.00PM to 11.00PM by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.01.2019.

By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent authority to give permission to conduct Cultural programme (Adal Padal) in the event of Sellappampatti Arulmigu Sree Mariamman Temple Kumbabishekam Festival at Namakkal Taluk and District on 10.03.2019 between 06.00PM to 11.00PM by considering his representation dated 21.01.2019.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation given by the petitioner dated 21.01.2019 has already been considered by the respondent vide Proceedings in C.No.1/19/Forecast/Npm PS/2019 dated 30.01.2019 granting permission to the petitioner to conduct the cultural programme (Adal Padal) subject to the conditions, which have already been imposed by this Court in similar matters. Hence, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
