O R D E R

Petitioners seek quash of the proceedings in C.C.No.4547/2013 and C.C.No.3148/2013 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai-600 008.

2. Heard learned counsel for parties.

3. Learned counsel for first respondent produced a copy of the order of this court passed in CRP(PD).No.1364/2015 dated 21.03.2017. Pursuant to order dated 23.11.2016, the matter has been referred to Mediation resulting in a Mediation Agreement dated 12.01.2017. From the copy of the Mediation Agreement dated 12.01.2017 interalia it is found that the respondent herein/wife has no objection to this court allowing the petitions in Crl.OP.Nos.2215/2014 and 5521/2014 and consequentially quash the proceedings in C.C.No.4547/2013 and C.C.No.3148/2013 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai-8

4. Accordingly, this petition shall stand allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.4547/2013 and C.C.No.3148/2013 on the file of the X Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai-8 shall stand quashed.

5. The copy of the order in CRP(PD).No.1364/2015 dated 21.03.2017 and the Mediation Agreement dated 12.01.2017 shall be placed along with the records.

In the result, the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
