Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in RA.5(2)/86123/2007 dated 10.06.2010 on the file of the second respondent herein, namely, the Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai and the order passed by him dated 10.06.2010, confirming the order of the first respondent, namely, the learned Additional District Magistrate and District Revenue Officer, Namakkal in M.M.No.8305/2007(M3) dated 15.10.2007 and quash the same and further direct the first respondent herein to grant DBBL gun licence to him.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to call for the records in RA.5(2)/86123/2007 dated 10.06.2010 on the file of the second respondent herein, confirming the order of the first respondent in M.M.No.8305/2007(M3) dated 15.10.2007 and quash the same and further, direct the first respondent to grant DBBL gun licence to the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to the following effect. "Based on instruction from the client, writ application withdrawn"

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
