The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to return the sale deed of the petitioner dated 10.03.2005 in Ref No.P6/2005 with proper registration forthwith.
2. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.P.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent submitted that the document in question was registered as Document No.3384 of 2014 and the same was already returned to the petitioner on 14.06.2016 on payment of the deficit stamp duty and other charges. The learned Government Advocate also produced the letter dated 17.07.2020 of the respondent stating that the document was registered and returned to the petitioner.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
