ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing second respondent to treat the complaint of the petitioner as a statement obtained under Section 161(3) statement from petitioner and proceed with the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2023 and file final report within the stipulated time.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
3. On the complaint, FIR has been registered in Crime No.8 of 2023, on the file of the second respondent. The petitioner, being one of the victims lodged complaint.
4. It is seen that now the entire FIR and case diary has been transferred to the file of Economic Offences Wing, Pudukottai and re-registered in Crime No.3 of 2024.
5. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to approach the Investigation
Officer to record the statement under Section 180(3) of BNSS, 2023.
6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
