The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 468,471 r/w 34 of I.P.C in Crime No. 19 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate ( Criminal Side) stated that the petitioner was shown as an absconding accused in the charge sheet filed and therefore, he strongly opposed this petition.

4. In view of the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed. The petitioner may examine the Rules 22 and 24 of Criminal Rules of practice.
