This petition is filed to call for the records in C.C.No.821 of 2015 on the file of V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and to quash the same.
2. When the matter is taken up, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this petition has become infructuous for the reason that the trial in the said case has been completed and the accused were convicted by judgment dated 31.10.2018.

3. In view of the conviction of the accused, including the petitioner herein, nothing survives in this petition. The Criminal Original Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, Crl.M.P.No.2749 of 2016 is also dismissed.
