When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that this Court while disposing of the Writ Petition in W.P.No.7927 of 2022 by an order dated https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA.J, mpa 05.04.2022 had directed the second respondent to appoint an officer in the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police and conduct an enquiry with regard to the representation made by the petitioner dated 09.12.2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. He would submit that in due complaince of the order dated 05.04.2022, an enquiry was conducted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Puliyanthoppu District, in C.No.200/DCP(P)/Camp/Crime/2022 dated 18.07.2022 within the prescribed time and a copy also forwarded to the petitioner on 06.03.2023.
2. Recording the above submissions, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
