This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 24.06.2016 preferred by him within a stipulated time frame.

2.The petitioner was dismissed from service by order dated 06.06.2016 passed by the District Manager, Arakkonam. Aggrieved by the order of dismissal, he preferred an appeal on 24.06.2016 before the respondent. As the same has not been disposed of till date, he is before this Court seeking the above said direction. 3.Since the issue falls in the narrow compass, this Court directs the respondent to consider the pending appeal preferred by the petitioner on 24.06.2016 and dispose of the same, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
