ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.1061 of 2021, pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 03.07.2023, this Court was informed that there was some settlement between the parties. Hence, the matter was posted under the caption "for reporting settlement" today.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the 2nd respondent who was present before this Court stated that there is no compromise between the parties.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted that this Court had directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.8,50,000/- within a period of four weeks, while granting Anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioners. However, the condition was not complied with. It was further submitted that the petitioners are absconding.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) further submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam on 30.08.2021 by stating that the petitioners are absconding accused.

6. In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this criminal original petition and there shall be a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam, Tiruppur District to act upon the final report filed by the respondent Police within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and proceed further in accordance with law.
