PRAYER : Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent relating to Na.Ka.NO.004702/B6(2)/2004 dated 24.02.2004, quash the same and issue directions to the respondents to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in his S.S.L.C. Mark sheets as 09.02.1981 instead of 02.02.1981 based on the entries in the school records.

ORDER
Heard Mr.R. Thamarai Selvan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A. Rajaperumal, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. With consent of learned counsel on either side, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3. The petitioner sought for change of his date of birth in the S.S.L.C mark sheet in the year 1996 by approaching the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
authorities in the year 2004.
4. The request has been rejected stating that at the time of verification, the petitioner did not raise any objection and at this distant point of time correction has not been effected.
5. This Court finds no error in the impugned order and the belated claim of the petitioner seeking rectification cannot be entertained at this distant point of time. In the result, the writ petition fails and stands dismissed. No costs.
