ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been preferred seeking to call for the records relating to C.C. No.29 of 2016, pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level), Coimbatore and quash the same. On the complaint lodged by Maheswari, the second respondent herein, the first respondent police registered a case in Cr. No.24 of 2015 and after completing the investigation, have filed C.C. No.29 of 2016 before the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level), Coimbatore, for the offence under Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of
Harassment of Woman Act, 1998, against Dr. Rajaram and four others, for quashing which, this Criminal Original Petition has been preferred.
Today, Maheswari, the de facto complainant and Dr. Rajaram, Ayyasamy and Sivashankari, who are accused 1,2 and 4 respectively, are present. Further, the parties have filed a joint compromise memo dated 26.04.2018, wherein, it has been stated as under:

It is respectfully submitted that the second respondent and petitioners do not want to pursue their respective complaints against each other and want to give quietus to the issue.

Under such circumstances, the petitioners and second respondent are filing this joint compromise memo and pray for quashing C.C. No.29 of 2016 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level), Coimbatore."
In view of the compromise entered into by the parties, as aforesaid, the proceedings in C.C. No.29 of 2016 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court (Magisterial Level), Coimbatore, is quashed on condition that the petitioners pay a sum of Rs.1,000/- each as costs to the credit of the Chief Justice Relief Fund (payable in Accounts Section of the High Court Registry), within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and file a photocopy of the receipt along with a memo reporting compliance in the Registry.
In fine, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Connected Crl.M.Ps. are closed.
