This petition has been filed seeking to amend the relief as one of declaration that the denial of employment to the petitioner as Subordinate Staff with effect from 19.11.2019 by the respondent is illegal and direct the respondent to regularize the petitioner to the post of Subordinate Staff of Andhra Bank at Sakkottai Branch, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur with all attendant benefits instead of earlier relief, which was sought to regularize the post of the petitioner as Subordinate Staff in that particular branch. 2.

On the side of the respondents, it had been contended that the writ petition itself is not maintainable. But even otherwise, it is only appropriate that all the issues raised by the petitioner are addressed by this Court. The respondents can file their counter questioning each and every statement made in the affidavit and also the nature of the relief sought and also contend that the petitioner cannot be granted such relief.

But however, in order to grant an opportunity to the petitioner herein to advance arguments, this petition is allowed. 14.09.2023 ssm Note : Registry to carry out necessary amendment in the prayer column.
