Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the name of the petitioner in the panel prepared for the post of Manager Class IV prepared for the year 2018-19 on par with his junior Tmt.S.Malathi, who was promoted on 09.02.2021 and further promoted as Manager Class II/Assistant Revenue Officer/Accountant on 30.09.2023 with all service and monetary benefits, within a reasonable period as may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the first respondent to consider the name of the petitioner in the panel prepared for the post of Manager Class IV prepared for the year 2019-2019 on par with his Junior S.Malathi who was promoted on 09.02.2021 and further promoted as Manager Class II/Assistant Revenue Officer/Accountant on 30.09.2023 with all service and monetary benefits.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
