O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 24.02.2014.

2.This Court perused the materials available on record and heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] for the respondent.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that he and his friend Venkatesan had obtained a loan from Syndicate Bank, Egmore Branch and that, he has been repaying the amount properly. But, whereas, his friend Venkatesan has committed default. It is further stated in the complaint that the said Venkatesan had died and when the petitioner approached the Chief Manager of the said Bank, he has not been provided with the accounts properly. It is always open to the petitioner to approach the Higher Authorities and Banking Ombudsman, if he has any grievance with the Manager. On a complaint of this nature, in the considered opinion of this Court, no direction can be issued to the police for that amounts to abuse process of law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
