Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.08.2022, 12.01.2023 for including the name of petitioners by way of a modification of an entry in the joint patta bearing Nos.499, 872, 693, 3136, 714 and 713 within a stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 18.08.2022, 12.01.2023 for including the name of petitioners by way of a modification of an entry in the joint patta bearing Nos.499, 872, 693, 3136, 714 and 713 within a stipulated period fixed by this Court.

2. In order to issue patta transfer in respect of Patta Nos.499, 872, 693, 3136, 714 and 713, the petitioners have made an application on 18.08.2022 through online. In order to consider the same and to pass orders by the 3rd respondent Tahsildar, the petitioners have preferred this writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.S.Arjun learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that, the applications submitted by the petitioners would be considered by the 3rd respondent Tahsildar and the needful would be undertaken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order.

"That there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar to consider the application submitted by the petitioners and the needful shall be undertaken within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
